God's saving grace

On a steep mountain's edge

Stuck on a precarious ledge

Above dangerous cliffs

My insides are scared stiff

The winds are howling

The thunder roaring

A monstrous blizzard raging

The day fast fading

I have sat still ,waiting

Praying

Hoping

Onto a well grounded Faith holding

In your words, trusting

And now the night is here

I thought by now it would be clear

But this storm is growing stronger

The chill getting meaner

The snow blowing faster

My frozen body growing weaker

With every hour passing

My optism fading

But I trust in your Mercies unending

Sufficient Grace, ever saving

My soulfood tonight to keep me going

Even though this night grows darker

I am believing in a morning brighter.
